The simple joy of being a child!

Today we had a cookout at the house. It is to the point that the nieces and nephews have now grown up to have their own children. Little kids just seem to make fun out whatever might be around. We have had this wagon in our backyard for the last 2 years. I just happened to look down from the deck and this was the sight I saw, Four kids crammed into that wagon enjoying each others supper!

It has been a while since I last posted on here. I guess being busy has dipped into my writing time. I just wanted to thank all of you for being so concerned and loving during this tough time in my life. It has been really appreciated. I am lucky to have you as family.

You know I could blog weekly on my Beck tributes, but if I was to dwell on it that much it would drive me crazy and probably all of you as well. I just wanted to say thank you!

Back to work

Tomorrow is my first day back at work. Not only will the carrier of route #7 in Niles,Ohio be back at work, so will the office D.J. I guess no one else could figure out that 80's technology while I was gone! The first song that will have to be played is the theme from the TV show "Welcome back Kotter". I usually play it for someone else, but not tomorrow! It's better than "another one bites the dust"!
