A sick day and a mish mash of things

It has been awhile since I last posted! Today I did something I haven't done since December of 2008, I called off from work. It is nothing real serious, just fighting a cold/ flu thing. I should be back to normal in a few days. I have spent the day trying to rest , but it seems something is always coming up. Between reading and watching a "House" marathon on USA, I have taken calls from my boss, who was checking in to see if I thought I would be in for work tomorrow. I then handled a banking snafu (which was my fault) that I had money taken out of the wrong account on bill pay. I have dozed some.

I guess it's time to let you know what is going on in my life these days and didn't want to particullary do that in a checking in letter. I have been seeing Michelle since last April and we decided we are taking it to another level and she moved in here at the begining of the year. We have spent January moving her stuff here and have spent most of Feburary getting her house fixed up to rent. Let me tell you it is a lot of work combining 2 households. We have hired out a lot of the work at her house as we just don't have the time to do it. It looks like we have a renter ready to move in in March. Snick is not an only child now as Michelle has a dog Buttercup, and 2 cats Percy and Hyde. The decision for her to move here and not for me to move to her house is that she can retire in 2 years and I still have to work for at least 5 to 9 years. It Made more sense for her to commute for the 2 years than me to do it for 10! Michelle has a daughter Megan who will turn 21 this next month. She is finishing up school in Pennsylvania, we see her mostly on the weekends. Even though we have hired out all the painting work at the other house, we still have been busy throwing stuff out and making decisions what to throw out and what to keep. We are down to the Christmas decorations in the attic and some stuff in the garage. We are looking forward to having a Sunday that doesn't involve going to buy supplies at Home Depot! That's the latest from North east Ohio.
